Are you ready to let your story inspire, motivate and empower the lives of women across the world?

Me too!!

This is one of the reasons I set out to create my business. I love to guide and support women through writing and realising the potential behind their story and using it to propel their business forward.

The other reasons were to have my own space to share my message and to be able to write freely.[/vc_column_text][vc_text_separator title=”My Story” color=”turquoise”][vc_column_text]I had grown up in a very emotionally abusive environment, constantly belittled, judged and told I wasn’t good enough. I had few friends outside of school because I was ashamed of bringing them home. After leaving school, I got my diploma, started teaching and during this time, my friend introduced me to my first boyfriend I guess you could say.

In the beginning, he was nice but then he raped me. I thought I was tough, so I moved on and built my life again. Then a year later, another man raped me, another friend of a friend. I questioned myself and I questioned my friends – were they really my friends if they knew people like this?

I closed off from my friends because I wasn’t sure if I could trust them anymore but during that time, I met another man. We spoke for months without meeting in person, and during that time he won my trust which was a very hard thing to do. I told him everything. I told him about how I was feeling towards my friend and towards myself. He listened and he built up my confidence enough that I was able to leave a job where I was under appreciated and put down. With his help, I started my own business teaching high school students and it took off. I felt happy for the first time in many years but then the happiness was broken when he used my past against me and raped me too. He became emotionally manipulative and I lost all control over my own life. Eventually a new friend rescued me took me away from his abusiveness and she helped me build up my life again to a state where I could function without him. I was making decisions about my own life and where I wanted to go. Sadly, that friendship dissolved and we drifted apart but I am grateful for being able to have my own life now and to build it up during these past few years when my life had felt so empty and violated.

I have tried to commit suicide a few times and I just was in such a dark place. I felt that everyone will be better off without me, but the one thing that’s got me through this is writing. Being able to share my thoughts on paper has been the one thing that’s been my saving grace and without it I know for sure that I wouldn’t be here right now sharing my story with you.

Writing was my one constant throughout my life. The part of me that couldn’t be reached. That could express itself in words and be free.

[/vc_column_text][vc_text_separator title=”How do I help you?” color=”turquoise”][vc_column_text disable_pattern=”false”]The trauma I suffered for years has given me a deep sense of compassion and empathy towards others. I enjoy getting to know people and their stories, the moments that have shaped their lives.

In my business, I aim to do the same thing and to journey with you as you come to grips with what may be a painful story and learn to use it to empower and inspire others. I guide and mentor you along the path to your business book with simple, but practical programs and services designed to help you feel comfortable along the way.

Writing is my therapist, my friend and my confidant ~ Mandy Halgreen

Earlier this year, I took a huge step to move away from my past and write my sixth book (available on Amazon). It showed me the power of words and how they truly build a person up.

Words can do good in a world that often feels dark and oppressive. Choosing words to put in a book is powerful and motivating. Each and every word is carefully placed and used to convey a specific message.

Writing with passion and meaning – a gift for years to come.

Actually, I would love to help you use your story to inspire others! I want you to consider using your story in a book for your business or for your personal life! I want you to use your story as a stepping stone and not a step back.

Are you eager to pursue this idea with me?

Then let’s talk about it![/vc_column_text][vc_btn title=”Let’s connect!” style=”custom” custom_background=”#44d9e6″ custom_text=”#ffffff” size=”lg” align=”center” link=”url:http%3A%2F%2Fbit.ly%2Fbookthecall|title:Let’s%20connect!|target:%20_blank|rel:nofollow”][/vc_column][/mk_page_section]
